Florida executed Mark Dean Schwab at 6pm last night for the murder of an 11 year old boy back in 1991.

The prison at Starke was bombarded with supporters from both sides of the death penalty issue... don't these people have a life? 

What I find sad is that it has taken our legal system 17 years to carry out Schwab's execution. When people say the death penalty doesn't deter capital crime they fail to take into consideration the fact that we constantly show our lack of balls when it comes down to doing the deed. If they'd start taking these murderers from the court room straight into the care of a waiting executioner you'd see a big change in the mind set of your average thug.
